A.K.A. "The Big Show"

Carlisle Itinerary
- We rent a tent on the fairgrounds and its become our annual meeting place during the show. There's a constant flow of traffic in our area, people and cars, and we always find someone looking for information, giving information or just needing to get out of the sun for a little while. We always have cold water on hand for whoever needs one.
- Most folks arrive at the show field sometime on Friday and we get reacquainted with old friends. There is so much to see and do we usually hit the swap meet area first looking for those missing pieces.
- Friday night we usually go to The Rustic Tavern for dinner and from there to Massey's Frozen Custard for dessert.
  
  Saturday morning is breakfast at the Fairgrounds Diner outside Gate One. A large place with good food and a courtious staff. We usually drive right to the showfield early to get a good parking spot, then walk to breakfast.
- Saturday we have dinner together at the tent. Anyone is welcome. In the past we've had a cook out, pot luck dinners and ordered pizza from a local place. Afterwards we usually sit around until dark sharing stories of cars or people, swap meet parts we've seen throught the day and just enjoy watching the cars roll by.
- Sunday is kind of a lazy day. We do breakfast at the Fairgrounds Diner again and trudge back through the swap meet area just in case we missed something.We wait until 10:00 am when they put out the winners lists and check to see who won a trophy. We say our good byes and for some of us begin the long drive home thinking about next year.
Registration Information
- When you register your car for either showing/judging or just the fun field, you'll have the opportunity to give them a club name. Carlisle Events has made it easy. If you register online, our club is listed in the drop down menu for "Club Name" on the registration form. If you print a form and mail it in use our full name "The Early Valiant and Barracuda Club".
